Happy 6th Birthday Donovan!!!

Our loving, active, crazy, smart and super happy baby is now 6! It's hard to believe he has grown up so much. He's now in kindergarten and loving every minute of it. He's so in love with everything to do with sports. He wakes up in the morning and the first thing he asks are the scores from last night's game. Then he proceeds to watch an hour of sportsnet, only stopping to eat breakfast and take Clara to school. Then he comes home and watches replays of the hockey games from the night before and plays hockey on the wii. He loves to play hockey in the basement. He just finished his season of indoor soccer and is looking forward to outside soccer starting in a few weeks.
He's such a smart boy. He's reading and writing well above grade level and is also doing very well with his math skills. He's taking piano this year and it's amazing at how fast he is picking things up. He's so well behaved for his teachers that I often hear comments that they wish all of the kids could be more like him.

He is such a pleasure to have around (when he's not in one of his crazy hyper moods). He's done really well with our move and has made some great friends. He's also such a great big brother. He helps me take care of Elliot and now that Lydia is here, he's so in love with her. Donovan and Clara are such good friends and it makes me so happy to see them get along so well.

We are so lucky to have this charming boy in our family, we could not imagine life without him!! Happy birthday my not so little guy!!

I can't for the life of me find his baby photos, sad. I know they are somewhere, at least I hope they are. This is what I could find for now.

 Our soccer star. At the beginning of the season he would run from the ball, but after a few weeks he was scoring 4 or 5 goals each game! He works super hard and runs fast. He was also great at passing and helping his teammates score as well.
